At The King Alfred School we hold to the
historic Creeds of the Church.
These are the Nicene Creed, St Athanasius’s Creed, and the Apostles' Creed. By holding to these creeds we stand in unity with our brothers and sisters in the faith from across the world and throughout the centuries.
We adopt the first two chapters of the Westminster Confession. These two chapters define our beliefs on the doctrine of the Holy Trinity and the Holy Bible
We believe all the above fix our identity in the tradition of the English Reformed Protestant faith whilst being broad enough to be accepted by the various denominations of the local Christian community.
